“ae ae aesculapius of the aether…

…originates as archaeopteryx”

———————————————

The aether’s archaeopteryx reigns…

aloft, see in dreams… which aesclepius sustains…

for nature’s height hath caduceus brains…

So the ether’s archaeopteryx must…

rove the air, to tell… in trust…

adeptly weaving worlds… with words! …and while weaving… proceed thus…

past warps, till woofs… are producing… weft…

by ginning thoughts… joining right and left…

quixotically native… and… in… too…

mind’s anticipant weir… and seldom through.

Read and written, into minds…

transitioning thee through these riparian times…

duplicitous, anadromous, parties mine…

by stories, lore, in science, in time…

proceeding… in studies… voraciously fine…

crux on the scene of most difficult brine…

from whence the hominids chart; these the sapient times…

venturing from the silvic heights…

upon this cloth; this firma terre,

cried plane versus sphere in sacred rites

of mountain, meridian, land, sea and air

to order, learner… deciphering, tare

and place these cephal talons there…

into that sub limnol lair…

not thee? …and I… I… with cross to bear?

This and thus the learned yearner.

For born of open spaces, dreams,

where wanderers think… and… spirits seem…

The hearts and minds! …

of yearning persons…

thus:

A nation, built, with arch, with dome,

stands on lands, grains, timbers… lone

and free in mind this heart to roam

hath found thy dream, thy name, thy home.

Whilst I Pacing

August 1, 2022. East of the Shop. I saw Ursa Major clearly in the Northern sky but the forking trunked tree between my Southern set and the wetland full of Emerald Borer Ash tree mortality obscured Polaris. So, I walked in the darkness as the tree moved West relative to the guidance and towards the Southern perimeter fix of my henge garden, and from there, I saw Polaris visible between aspects of the foliation. So, I inclined my recapitulatorily precise sapient radius and ulna on a due north bearing at approximately 42°, towards the North Star, and held my vector indication steady as I walked back to my original observational set, there, due West and and in slightly elevated proximity to the henge; slogging in the anemophillic herbivory uphill relative to the granite fencepost henge set locale. As best as I could, I walked in the damp, enveloped by the darkness; back to where I had sighted Ursa Major, and I proceeded to where my vantage then traced the Merak to Dubhe vector unto Polaris… hidden there once again behind the leaves; and at which I was then still pointing. Back and fourth, trodding in the night, the tree seemed to move; myself and the guiding star a static continuum. I had walked past the arboreal sway twice with Polaris, remaining in proximal relative alignment with the Northern Star. Still, yet perhaps wobbling, myself and the star, whilst in my wisp of motion demonstrably static somehow we were, whilst I pacing, shining there was the fix to which my index inclinated as I walked.
